If you're a bride whose style skews a little more modern, or who likes a touch of colour but still wants to achieve a romantic vibe for your special day, look no further for inspiration.
The shoot captures the perfect mix of vibrance and romance. We shot at Eastington Park, a local wedding venue in Gloucestershire. The stunning grade II listed Georgian manor enjoys an idyllic location within eight acres of glorious gardens, and with spectacular views of the surrounding Gloucestershire countryside it made the perfect backdrop for our shoot. There were even cows in the neighbouring field.
My style can be described sometimes as fairly unique, preferring to work with a variety of unusual flowers and tones, miles a way from the traditional. For this shoot I chose a rich, vibrant colour palette with striking textures, so the details would pop against the beautiful bohemian style dress provided by The Cotswold Frock Shop.
Flowers included a bright and bold bouquet filled with red pincushion protea, bright orange safflower, daisies and eucalyptus foliage, with mismatched ribbon to complete the statement look.
Bridesmaid look featured an orange toned flower crown with daisies, styled with a dusty long lace gown from Boohoo.com and carried a floral hoop with bold, pink peonies. Floral hoops are fast becoming a popular, cool alternative to a classic bridal bouquet with may boho brides, and you can see why! They're beautiful and understated, with a strong vibe of elegance that can work for the whole bridal party.
